3.5.21 - Voucher Re-issue & email notifications

Voucher Re-issue option

We have expanded the Voucher Reference section within Account Settings. This section now includes your complimentary voucher prefix and new options for controlling what happens when a voucher is resent.

You can choose from three settings:

  • Always give a new voucher reference: Invalidates the original voucher and issues a replacement with a new reference number.
  • Never change the voucher reference: Resends the existing voucher without changing its reference number or validity.
  • Ask each time: Prompts the employee to choose whether to issue a new reference or keep the existing one whenever they resend a voucher.

Email BCC and email enhancements. 

We have added a new Email Copy feature following requests from businesses that want employees to be notified of sales or receive a copy of every voucher issued.

You can now add a BCC email address in your account settings. This address will automatically receive a copy of all supported system emails, including:

  • Receipts
  • Voucher emails
  • Shipping notifications
  • Payment links

If your business needs to maintain a complete email record of vouchers and receipts, we recommend creating a dedicated email account specifically for these copies.

Added voucher descriptions and expiry information to terminal

We have added a button to get further information on products and validity within the terminal. 

Once you have added a product to basket click on the arrow above the price to see more information.
